Artist Statement
In painting, I try to express the glories of watercolor, its luminosity, fragility and movement. My choice of subject matter, the natural world, reflects my deepest inspiration. I respect the unique dynamic between pigment, water, brush, paper and artist as the painting evolves naturally, thereby becoming a visual expression of an internal experience.
About the Artist
I feel honored to be a student of Carolyn Simon (C.C. Wolf) of the East Side Art Center in Providence and to be a signature member of the Rhode Island Watercolor Society.
